Did further digging into software. Depends what we want for our financial reporting. Business level will cost $300. Home financing would be checks only. $60 for check printing software. Sourceforge and Citizens Bank still to check out. |

ADO Rep: |
Received paperwork for tournament application and next year's membership. Cali running singles league with first 6 to put in money getting entry. Just another idea for getting ADO qualification spots. Potential to reduce cost by dropping to next level down for membership slots. |

Old Business: |
Signup: Calendar made it bad timing this year (and again next). No takers on the money option. |

Picnic: Decent venue. Great food. Lacking a fridge and power for a while (but that was larger local outage). Turnout was disappointing. Ideas for improving turnout or scrap entirely? Kids games, but that would cost more in outlay up front. Throw it open to membership for ideas? Make a deposit-based ticket system? BYOB/ BYOS / BYOE (shelter only)? Should definitely examine other options through polling full membership before signing up the league for another picnic. |

New Business: |
Rochester Open 2013: Talked to Pat - in for $1000. He would like to see us sell board sponsorships and other additional sponsorships and is prepared to add to it if some form of match is a decent incentive to offer. Technically Sunset is our event sponsor as contribution is cash plus playing space. He is also available to help fundraising efforts. Without locking ourselves into an exclusive pour requirement problem we may be able to get prize donations as opposed to cash from beverage companies. Perhaps an exclusive pour for some beverage companies would be able to be limited to the special promotion rather than venue-wide which is where we would run into obvious resistance from Sunset. Pat offered to sponsor winners' shirts for his events (and we could add our own for other events), which would be nice to have available on-site but would have implications for varying size of participants. Rich also suggested trying to get the Days Inn to buy further into sponsorship beyond cut price rate. We may want to consider shirts again this year but definitely next. We have two potential providers. Could embroider logo on demand or buy shirts based on last year's attendance. $1750 tournament and counting. |

Open Discussion: |
11:30 is the earliest McGinnity's has got done this season. Some are going to 12:30 which is clearly unacceptable. Trisha's rule was not put into play officially so far. Poll captains of division and look into possibility of changes (1 leg 501, single in 301 to replace 501) at midseason? |
