Secretary: |
Nothing to report. |

Not here. |

Scorekeeper: |
Didn't get a chance to update parity check report. Things looking pretty steady so far. GS heard format complaints (later) |
Protest Commitee: |
None. There are rumblings about a couple boards being in poor standard. Clarified what's in the rules currently - complaints must be brought prior to match start. However we can only instruct tavern to rectify situation and no team would be subject to a points deduction. Can issue friendly reminder to all captains to make sure they protect their boards as much as possible with regular rotation, etc. |

PR Committee: |
Most board members are not in a regular bar scene stage of life at the moment. PR in general is suffering as a result. Jeffrey's, Ridge Pub and a few others looking for teams - all need to do what we can - flyers, chatting up managers, etc. L&M upstairs, Salvatore's also potentials. Summer Ads - offering $5 for new members again. Flyers ready soon to be passed around. |

ADO Rep: |
Regional date moved to 24th - DD is going to try and set up a qualifier before then. |

Old Business: |
Midseason wrap-up: 24 at Sunset, 20 at Ira's. $18 plus $45 raised for Bill L (part of Ira's 50/50 went towards chalker's prize as bottles of booze seemed inappropriate for the venue). Bit of a problem with the trophies which will get fixed in due course. Tried out v2.0 of the TV software. Couple bugs noticed by ED but went well - looks promising for running bigger tournaments. Mike Gloss was a bit strong for the lower midseason but rules are very strictly phrased that nobody may choose to move. Since general members can play but must play in the top tournament, consensus was that all members should be allowed to optionally move up (but clearly never down). Mike brought up previous rumblings about the final match loser's bracket being three legs as well - better potential would be a single 5 leg match and being done with it (might need a sweep rule associated with that). 301 also called into question as a doubles game - 401 (both double) or 601 (single double) touted as possible replacements. |

Otis Del: Closed a few loops. |

Charity tournament: Proposed that McGinnity's is too small and Sunset is unavailable. Jukebox was suggested but felt it was a bit far out. Next moves decided on and GS is going to move forward. |

New Business: |
ADO Rep: Amy has volunteered but we want to throw it open first - need a brief description of the post and a separate email and notice posted containing such a description to solicit volunteers. |
Ira's: Contrary to rumours they have not lost their liquor license and do not have plans to close. Pour it and they will come - waiting to see if they get more stock soon. |

Open Discussion: |
JK starting to talk about next year's open. Pat Allen interested again and has some ideas he wants to float. This year we want everything done by September including sanction etc. Also spoke to Clive at Syracuse about getting the word out there in Canada. JG suggested moving the board night for scheduling month to allow scheduling to take place at the meeting so that all the conflicting issues of bye weeks, position nights, teams per division, etc. can be discussed. Captains meeting being an important potential asset brought up again. |
