Old Business: |
Rochester Open 2012 : Results have been sent to the ADO and will be published eventually. The flyer will be included so people can see what events we played etc. Buffalo guys were keen for the ADO qualifier event. Broke even and had an excellent turnout based on the short timeframe we had putting it together. Lots of very positive feedback and only a couple of minor complaints. Round Robin and ADO qualifier got in the way a bit. |

New Business: |
Casey v Del & Safety: Seems to boil down to a PR issue - need to adjust perception. Proposed to get the facts out to the membership - about the incident itself, about steps that the Del currently takes (cameras), about the long standing 30 years of establishment in a 3 and out policy environment. recommendations for travel, offers by the Del for help. Casey's elected not to travel to the Del. There was a miscommunication of an offer to reverse venue but ultimately the match was refused. Casey's match was called as a forfeit to the Dell, unfortunate though the circumstances were. |

Next Tuesday: Probably a bit late to change now but in future should we schedule on Valentine's day, the way we do for St Patrick's and Halloween. Also can we avoid championship matches in Christmas week? Not without starting the season before Labor Day which makes for more widespread problems. We'll do the best we can of course… |

Bill Lenhart Memorial Tournament: BB talked to Sue Kier about raffles. Jen talked to DD at work and wants to come along to chat about it some more. Feb 23rd seems like a good night to meet at McGinnity's - see who is available. GS, DD, JK, BB, Sue Kier. Want to hold tournament at McGinnity's to run same beer deal. Want to score some monitors and a printer so that we have a backup for the bracket. |
